Job Summary:
We invite application for the post of Gynecology Professor to a medical college in Medak Telangana.
We are seeking an experienced and qualified individual to join our esteemed medical college as a Professor of Gynecology. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in teaching, research, and clinical training in obstetrics and gynecology, while also contributing to the academic and administrative activities of the department.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Mentoring:
Deliver lectures, conduct practical sessions, and guide postgraduate and undergraduate students in gynecology.
Supervise dissertations, research projects, and case studies.
Provide mentorship to students and junior faculty members.
Clinical Duties:
Oversee and participate in patient care in the associated teaching hospital.
Supervise clinical rounds, case discussions, and diagnostic procedures.
Ensure adherence to medical and ethical standards in patient care.
Research and Development:
Initiate and contribute to research projects in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at conferences.
Encourage a culture of academic inquiry and innovation.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Participate in curriculum development and examination processes.
Assist in departmental administration and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
Coordinate with other departments for interdisciplinary activities.
Continuing Medical Education (CME):
Organize and participate in workshops, seminars, and training programs.
Stay updated with advancements in the field and incorporate them into teaching and practice.
Qualifications and Experience
Educational Qualifications:
MBBS with MD/MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology from a recognized institution.
Additional qualifications such as PhD or DNB in the relevant field will be preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 8–20 years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years in a position equivalent to Associate Professor in a recognized medical college.
Registrations:
Must be registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI)/National Medical Commission (NMC).
