Job Summary:


Responsibilities:

Surgical Procedures: Perform a variety of cardiac surgeries including bypass surgery, valve repair or replacement, heart transplant, and other complex procedures.

Patient Evaluation: Assess patients' medical histories, conduct physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests to determine the need for surgical intervention.

Treatment Planning: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's condition.

Surgical Techniques: Utilize advanced surgical techniques and technologies to ensure optimal patient outcomes while adhering to established medical protocols and safety standards.

Postoperative Care: Monitor patients closely during the postoperative period, manage complications as they arise, and provide ongoing care to support recovery and rehabilitation.

Research and Education: Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiac surgery through continuing education, participation in conferences, and research activities. Provide mentorship and training to medical students, residents, and fellows.

Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care, safety, and outcomes within the cardiac surgery department and the hospital at large.

Qualifications:
MCH, (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery.
Valid license to practice medicine in Tamil Nadu.
Demonstrated experience and proficiency in performing a wide range of cardiac surgical procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
