Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Training
Deliver lectures, practical sessions, and demonstrations in Radiology to undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/DNB) students.
Supervise clinical training and ensure students gain hands-on experience with radiological equipment and procedures.
Develop and update curriculum in line with Medical Council of India (NMC) guidelines.
Research and Publications
Conduct original research and contribute to the institution's research objectives.
Guide students and junior faculty in research projects and publications.
Publish findings in reputed national and international journals.
Clinical Services
Provide radiological diagnostic services, including X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and interventional procedures.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Administrative Responsibilities
Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and institutional activities.
Assist in the accreditation and inspection processes as required.
Mentorship and Leadership
Mentor junior faculty, residents, and students.
Lead and inspire academic excellence in the department.
Qualifications and Experience
Educational Qualification:
MD/DNB in Radiology from a recognized institution.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of teaching and/or research experience in Radiology as an Assistant Professor in a recognized medical college or teaching hospital.
Should meet the eligibility criteria as per National Medical Commission (NMC) norms.
Other Skills:
Strong academic and clinical knowledge in Radiology.
Proficiency in the use of advanced imaging technologies and equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
