Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rheumatologist to join our multidisciplinary medical team at [Hospital Name] in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a variety of endocrine disorders. The Rheumatologist will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Diagnose and treat endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid diseases, metabolic disorders, osteoporosis, and hormonal imbalances.
Clinical Duties: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about endocrine diseases, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including primary care physicians, dietitians, and other specialists to ensure high-quality patient care.
Research and Development: Stay updated with the latest medical advancements in Rheumatology and participate in clinical research when applicable.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Emergency Care: Provide emergency endocrine consultations as needed.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous medical education (CME) and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications:
Education: DM or DNB degree in Medicine with specialization in Rheumatology. Experience: A minimum of 0-20 years of experience as an Rheumatologist is preferred, though exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered. Licensure: Valid medical license to practice in Uttarakhand, India. Certifications: Board certification in Rheumatology is highly desirable. Skills: Excellent diagnostic skills, strong communication abilities, and proficiency in managing complex endocrine disorders.
