Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense medications to inpatients and outpatients based on physician prescriptions. Review prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and potential interactions. Counsel patients on medication use, including proper administration, side effects, and storage instructions. Maintain and update patient medication profiles. Participate in medication reconciliation upon admission and discharge. Prepare and maintain accurate medication records. Manage pharmacy inventory and ensure adequate stock levels. Stay up-to-date with the latest drug information and best practices in pharmacy care. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. May participate in medication use reviews and develop medication safety protocols (depending on the specific role).

Qualifications:
Bpharm, Mpharm, Dpharm degree from a recognized university in India. Valid Pharmacist license issued by the Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council. Minimum 0 to 23 years of experience working in a hospital or community pharmacy setting. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, pharmacy laws, and regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in computer applications relevant to pharmacy operations. Commitment to patient safety and providing high-quality pharmaceutical care.
